Popular Post Cliff Posted June 22, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted June 22, 2021 I've been assembling a rig to machine chase threads in wood on my engine lathe. But I gotta say after watching this I wonder if I should stop They babble insanely in some incomprehensible alien language (I guess their mommies didn't teach them english) But you don't really need any words Oh the oil they use I suspect is Linseed oil Gerald, p_toad, Gunny and 2 others 4 1 Quote
Steve Krumanaker Posted June 24, 2021 Report Posted June 24, 2021 The Wyoming wood turner, Sam Angelo has some good videos on hand chasing threads. Something to consider though, most American hardwoods aren't suitable for hand chasing threads. I'm pretty sure Sam uses box wood for most of his projects. Cal, Gunny and DuckSoup 3 Quote
