Sunday, my grand-daughter filled in as church pianist.  I don't know why this might start 7 1/2 minutes in.  If you scroll back to start, you'll see her play for a few minutes.

Even my untrained ear can appreciate the difference.

*Finally* got help to deliver and I got over this afternoon to do final assembly of all the parts.   I'll get a better photo with my camera in a future visit.

A whole lot of work and, worth every minute, too. That is one phenominally impressive, not to mention, highly creative, piece of work.

Love the way you got the pedals under it, I like it a lot better than the inspiration photo.

That is great Keith!  You're a great dad :)

Nice repurpose of an old piano, fits perfect in its space.

Thanks for sharing this Keith. Enjoyed the entire service plus appreciate the country church setting and environment. Your granddaughter is quite an accomplished pianist for her age.

Took a while to get through this thread but worth the journey. Excellent save and repurpose of the piano. You've recreated another heirloom which no doubt will be enjoyed for generations to come. Well done. Thanks for taking all along to enjoy.

Great look . It looks so simple and I would not have thought it that much work except by following the posts. Thanks for the story along the way.
