New old work bench

Something like this Jim? I'd hate to rack my bench one leg at a time. It can't be good.

:ChinScratch: ... Kind of reminds me of the old Delta castors used on the open stands. Probably a lot cheaper too.

I have those castors on my bench, I may add that crosspiece.

Shopsmith sure got it right too.

I kind of like these ones that you can remove after pulling the pin.

I like those a lot too Larry, I'd rather be able to pull the pin, and store them out of the way, nothing to trip on, and one less eye sore to take away from my sacred time at my all wood beautiful work bench. :)

That (the pin) does look like a good improvement over the ones I have.

:ChinScratch: ... My thought is that the mounting brackets could also be used for tying two offset benches, or machine stands together with a steel plate to keep them in place. I may run my lathe off of the motor on the TS, BM, & jointer.

@Larry Buskirk would you happen to have a link to these?

Bob, I found those on eBay!. Prices all over the place.

I used the search term "workbench casters".

I'm sure Amazon probably has them listed also.

Amazon has them in sets of four.  Powertec is the brand name for searching purposes.
