February 20, 20215 yr Popular Post comment_258488 A few pics of some of the things I do. Not a lot of fancy but it keeps me occupied and just enough variety to make things interesting. Report
February 20, 20215 yr Popular Post comment_258496 I see you are into Ringmaster and nicely so too. I have not used mine in about a year and a half and now am selling the lathe it fits. Looking forward to seeing more from your shop. Report
February 20, 20215 yr comment_258501 WOW! I would love to see the procedure for glueing up those chaotic bowls! Do you have a laser for engraving? Report

February 20, 20215 yr Author comment_258571 Thanx for the welcome, guys. Gerald - I know you've seen some of these before over at Woodworking Friends before it got shut down. Lew - The easiest way to describe the technique is Youtube - MTMWood Look for his chaos cutting board video. Where he stops and calls it a cutting board, I use that point as the start of my bowls. It's just a regular Ringmaster bowl after that. No laser. Just a side benefit of working for a trophy shop - Free engraving! That box was a Christmas gift for a young lady that just got her Master's in Mechanical Engineering. p_toad - We sell a LOT of those around here. For some strange reason. Report
February 20, 20215 yr comment_258584 I had considered doing a dizzy bowl but the investment in time and the resaw setup for bandsaw did not help add to my interest. But I do love looking at them. Report
