Popular Post Gerald Posted February 20, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted February 20, 2021 I see you are into Ringmaster and nicely so too. I have not used mine in about a year and a half and now am selling the lathe it fits. Looking forward to seeing more from your shop. lew, Artie, Gunny and 2 others 5 Quote
lew Posted February 20, 2021 Report Posted February 20, 2021 WOW! I would love to see the procedure for glueing up those chaotic bowls! Do you have a laser for engraving? Larry Buskirk, Gunny, Cal and 1 other 4 Quote

Headhunter Posted February 20, 2021 Author Report Posted February 20, 2021 Thanx for the welcome, guys. Gerald - I know you've seen some of these before over at Woodworking Friends before it got shut down. Lew - The easiest way to describe the technique is Youtube - MTMWood Look for his chaos cutting board video. Where he stops and calls it a cutting board, I use that point as the start of my bowls. It's just a regular Ringmaster bowl after that. No laser. Just a side benefit of working for a trophy shop - Free engraving! That box was a Christmas gift for a young lady that just got her Master's in Mechanical Engineering. p_toad - We sell a LOT of those around here. For some strange reason. p_toad, Cal, Artie and 1 other 4 Quote
Gerald Posted February 20, 2021 Report Posted February 20, 2021 I had considered doing a dizzy bowl but the investment in time and the resaw setup for bandsaw did not help add to my interest. But I do love looking at them. Cal, Gunny and Artie 3 Quote
