September 5, 20205 yr My weekend looks like paint, paint, paint. And I will have to mow the lawn at some point in there also. I painted a group of base & shoe moulding yesterday. I need to figure out where to put these "for the time being" so that I can do another group today. Then it's on to a few doors. I have two sets of closet bifolds that I need to assess and either rehab or replace. The last ceiling trim may go up tomorrow - and I have our old wooden headboard outside where I have started stripping the paint. Just a few projects to keep me busy...

Winter in central Kansas is usually one to two mild to medium snowfalls. A heavy storm would be eight to nine inches. Our main problem is usually ice. I had an ice storm split a bradford pear in my front yard years back. If I knew then what I know now, I would have salvaged some of that wood, but I wasn't a turner then.

September 5, 20205 yr Got the freezer defrosted and cleaned up. An all day job, but boy I found food under the ice. Got the front yard done and will get the back done tomorrow. Teaching the grand daughter rounding of hundreds and thousands. Not getting across yet--waiting for the light bulb to glow. Starting on repairing a broken rocking chair. Will be asking for expert advice. Other than that, cooking for the grandchildren, measuring pills, cleaning and wishing I was turning those rolling pins. Having withdrawals.
