April 7, 20197 yr Popular Post Busy day in the shop. Have a drawer that needed upgraded drawer slides to 100lb ball bearing style. Happen to have extra 24 inch ones so off we went to changing it out. OOOOh no, not so fast. Drawer was 1/8 inch too narrow so was pulling the slide out of track. My apprentice says put a shim in. Yeah we could but hey why not learn how to fix the problem. So we disassembled the drawer and glued pieces on each end to make wider. Waiting on glue to dry so we can cut to proper size and reassemble. Since he commented on it needed a finish, pieces are getting some paint. The hidden cabinet door has been dry fitted and all the kinks worked out. Currently in paint stage. The plywood has soaked up some paint but hey good practice for the kid. Back to the shop, have another 4 drawers to make for cabinet upgrade. Last pic is one of my wife's cats that has decided she wants to sit and watch.

That vent is used when spraying finish or when cleaning the shop. Neither of which the cat likes, or really any of them. They don't seem to mind getting sawdust all over them but get a cloud going, nah they have a bird to kill or something.

April 8, 20197 yr @Gerald Wow, that album page is a good one. Nicely done ,I like the format too. You have sure done some nice work too. I like those bowls with the wing style legs on them. The pictures of the other members work, is spectacular, and sure a varied style of pieces. Really talented group, thanks for posting, lot of work went into that site. Herb
