next project:  picture frame for my wife, who recently completed a counted cross stitch piece.

so glued up some oak to double thickness.  and now i wait.  next, trim to final width and plane the face smooth, then time for routing some beads and the rabbit.  then cut to length and miter the corners.  and stain somewhere in there too.

As you saw from the picture yesterday, the grass/weeds were above our ankles.  So, I tried to mow today.  Before the battery ran down, I got half of the back yard mowed.  It's a good thing that the battery runs down in about 45 minutes, because I need a real break at this age.  Will by 17 next month.  Oh, did I type that backwards.:JawDrop:So, tonight, the battery and I get recharged and we do it again tomorrow.  That way, I have more time to do some shavings and sawdust.  :OldManSmiley:

I cheated!  The neighbor owes me a ton of favors and has a zero turn lawnmower.  He came down and did the yard in record time while I made sawdust.
