Labeled Drawers

Every time I clean and organize......................I can't find anything. When I stumble on it, I wonder why in the world did I put it there? My wife's dad was a carpenter. He lived in a mobile home, which was a total mess. She waited till he was away and cleaned it, hung up his tools, etc. When he came home he was so mad that he didn't speak to her for a week. It did not long and it was as she found it.

Maybe label a drawer..."Things in here you can't find any place else", or "Place Only Lost Items in Here."

I labeled my new drawers but need to make some more. Everything is fine as long as the item is in the drawer

Thanks. Good reminder..

You may have just answered some questions for me.

The older I have gotten and the more stuff I accumulate has taught me hang my ego from a tree and use labels.

LOL

Putting things back would help more.

Why????  Gives you an excuse to go out & buy another one--- just to also lose the new one--- to go out & buy another one.

Repeat until you either find one of 'em or you forgot why you wanted it in the first place

They say a picture is worth a thousand words....

For my parts drawers with small parts like nuts, bolts, cotter pin and other things I take my hot melt glue gun and glue one of each on the out side of each drawer. A quick glance will tell me where my stuff is at fast.
