Labeled Drawers

I worked at a large power plant for 38 years and in a large instrument shop. Much of the work was on pneumatic instrumentation. All drawers were labeled as well as cabinets. However there were two drawers that alway got most people's attention. First was a large cabinet labeled in big letters

"Things we should have thrown away years ago" My favorite was "Funny looking things":D

I'll bet most of our shops contain lots of items fitting those descriptions. Mine are not in labeled containers, though.

Why would you keep looking for it after you found it, George Carlin observation.

The last place I look is in my wife's purse. If its not in there then mankind doesn't need it.

I hate when I find it and realize I've already looked in this drawer three times.

Yep. BTDT...way too maddeningly often. Then you file it's location in the memory bank and find it forgotten the next day.:(

I think my daughter spends 2 hours every day looking for her cell phone. She uses my phone to call her phone trying to locate where she left it. My tool drawers are labeled. Ya Stick, I'm lazy. Less time looking= less frustration.:)

Mine are labeled, too. Doesn't seem to help much. Putting things back would help more.:(

Amen, if I don't do that at least once a day-something is wrong. Time to put the wrong side of the bed against the wall.
