Let me see, yesterday our daughter came in for a visit.    After she left, I continued on with the upstairs remodel.  Cutting and milling some custom crown moulding.  Today is shifting gears.  I am working on some vinyl work.  A custom sign for a buddy's garage and a couple of mirrors to sandblast and paint that I have been putting off.

Sunday I plan to put up and caulk the crown moulding, and hang & trim a new door.

Monday is a cookout with sisters-in-law - probably involve a beer or 12...

The Veterans cemetery where my wife is keeping my spot for me, was all decked out with flags and bunting, was really beautiful. I cut a nice bouquet of roses for her. And not a cloud in the sky ,she loved roses and sunshine. Sunny morning to remember. Then My Dad and Mom in a different cemetery, mausoleum was also decked out with flags and lots of flowers. I got there early around 10:00AM so not many people around yet. Left there and stopped on the way home for some groceries and they had the disabled Veterans table there with the poppies , I stopped on the way out and made a donation, like I always do. I remember my dad always wore the little red poppy on his cap, he was a WWI Army veteran.

Have a happy Memorial Day folks.

Still removing PT wood decking. Should get it done, or almost done by Monday.  Sanded and painted a couple of metal plant stands for my wife yesterday. Will visit my sons grave tomorrow. Yesterday would have been his 22nd wedding anniversary. We visited my daughter-in law to remember the happy times. She still has a voice mail recording of my son, He always enjoyed singing a particular tune to her, and the voice mail was him singing to her.

My heart goes out to her and you and your family, Al

I like that portable Tin Shack, it would be a hoot to take that camping instead of a tent.

I agree. It was unique and caught everyone's eye. There were more people looking at the Tin Shack that her art work.

That is art work of a different kind.
