Last minute Christmas shopping here, does anyone have any experience with Wood Burning, Pyrography? Any suggestions on a quality wood burning kit for a beginner are greatly appreciated. There are a ton of options out there, from 101 piece kits for 29.99 to the sky is the limit. Are the multi piece kits ok? Or should we stay with the basics? What are the basics? Thanks folks

A couple decorative mason jar lids. These are embellished using a cheap Chinese laser engraving machine. No finish on them as they are basically learning pieces. Anyway, I have blog going on purchasing and learning to use one of these machines if anyone is interested. Steve
