    Garden Shed Floor Build

My fault, I jumped the gun and purchased this shed online without verifying the actual dimensions, it advertises as a 4' x 8', I knew from experience it wouldn't be exact so I was ready for a inch or two on the lesser side of the overall, but who in the tarnation would add to the width! I was expecting to be able to frame up a floor and use a standard 4x8 sheet of ply, I thought I'd have to reduce the size of the floor a couple inches here and there, but not add to it! 51.6 Inches??????
  2. As I age, it's becoming a back and hip killer! 15 minutes of standing at a bench requires another 15 minutes in a chair. If anyone else has had this problem, what sort of mats or other cushioning works for you? I was thinking of doubling up some of those flimsy HF mats but, they are a PITA to keep together, as they crumble up after a while. I'm sure there are better solutions and, figured someone here has found it. If so, please point me to it. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

    Fixing squeaky floor

Over the years I've tried to fix squeaky floors and met with limited success. I was watching This Old House and saw a great new way to do this with hardly any of the trouble you expect. It is on YouTube and it is worth the look.
  4. Detail of the white oak floor. Also showing more of the handle
  5. Warped & Twisted

    Interesting painting.
