Woodman Members July 24, 20241 yr Author stats Thanks, @John Morris. This is probably my most mainstream piece. It's got Rubio Pure on it, angle blocks are glued to unfinished wood then screwed, they have sheet cork to reduce vibration noise and wall marring, and the hangers are c.16" keyhole mortise. It's in the refurbished quarters on permanent duty.

I'm set for a few decades. DELTA MODEL NO. 34-080 10” MOTORIZED MITER BOX MFG. DATE/SR. NO. K89/20
John Morris Administrator July 25, 20241 yr Author stats Well nice score Woodman! So the Rubio, I'd ask how do you like it, but the fact you are using it, you must like it. I'll have to try some, I looked it up and it's available, so it's not a bygone sort of finish. I'll have to order some through the mail, it looks like the real stuff that I can't find in California. Thanks for the information Woodman, and again, real nice looking shelf.
Woodman Members July 25, 20241 yr Author stats You're welcome, @John Morris The first time I saw it, a piece of oak looked like it had been hand-rubbed for decades with zero finish. It's that good. You want the accelerator, though. Or it takes six weeks to cure. But the package is pricy. A donation is in order. These days I use nothing on the longleaf, or S.J.Johnson paste wax, the discontinued stuff which uses naphtha as a solvent - mmmmm, the smell But if I had an important enough job, Rubio Monocoat is the way to go.
