I built new kitchen cabinets for our home and my asked wanted a new island.  This has two doors on each side and two drawers for silverware.  Top is edge grained hard maple.

I remember this job well Ron! What an exciting time in the Dudelston home it was too! I forgot how you secured the island to the floor, bolt the base to the floor, then secure the cabinet to the base?
