A few weeks ago @lew posted a video about making twig vases and different types on Wednesday’s Wisdom. The ice storms we had last month has left me with plenty of branches to work with. Here’s a couple vases with a little birch crotch bowl from one of the branches. The larger vase has a glass tube glued in the center. They were quick and fun, finished with some satin spray lacquer.

Those do look fun Gordon! I really like the Birch signature bark left on the turnings, they unmistakingly Birch, really cool. The bowl has a neat figure in the center running through it, thanks for sharing this.

Love that birch bark on them! We lost our birch many years ago but it lives on through some bowls.
