Friday again folks.

Here "Two Weeks From Anywhere" it's going to be another hibernation day. :Ho_Hum.thumb:

It's currently (5:15 AM CDT) -12 with a WC of -40 degrees. :KooKoo_Clock:

So, as I stay in for another day,

Supposed to be cold with snow starting tonight so today plan a run to get a few shop supplies to continue with the new setup. Wanted to place an Amazon order for some dust collection items but with the incoming winter weather warning, don't want to be the reason anyone would need to be traveling (realize they will delay if needed but at least I can rest easy that I'm not part of the demand!). Haven't had any real snow yet this year so I guess we will "catchup" in the upcoming week.

Balmy 39° here today. We may get a little snow. If I get the snowblower out, that guarantees there won't be much!

Got a call from the deacon at Mimi's church. He wants a prayer box made, to be place outside of the church. Need to draw up something for him to approve.

Got the replacement air pressure cutoff switch put on the old compressor. Wonders of wonders- everything fit including the airline from the switch to the tank fitting!! No leaks- so far.  Not so fortunate with the basement laundry basin faucet replacement. Had to make a second Lowe's run for another flexible hose from the copper to faucet fitting.

Got a tad nippy last night at 5 degrees.   Storm is coming in tomorrow and 8-12 inches of snow being forecast.  Shopwise, I’m building two wslnut flag cases but tomorrow morning will be spent sorting out tax documents for my CPA.  Joys.

Sun's shining, warmed up to -8 WC -21.

Just trying to stay warm. With full sunshine we've managed to warm all the way up to +2°. 10 day forecast doesn't include any day above the mid teens for a high.

Oldest grandson has a JV basketball game tonight on the road and a NOON home game tomorrow weather permitting. Youngest grandson has travel league games Sunday afternoon but anticipate those to be canceled with the impending winter storm. Edit add: just canceled. We're still in discussion about canceling church services Sunday as we're now in a revised snow path of 8"-12" with heavy blowing and drifting.

Donut see any fun outdoor activities or shop stuff in the near future. 55d, 20h, 27m, 18s, 17s, 16s, 12s until Spring if you are one to track this sort of thing.

Like a lot of us in this region, I'm just trying to stay warm. Earlier today I got the snowblower hung on the tractor and brought it up to the garage. Also brought up some gas in case it's a job for the walk behind snow blower. Otherwise it's a stay inside weekend. I do have to re copy my state taxes so i may get that done, and Netflix now has the entire James Bond library of movies available, so I may relive some memories watching a few of those.

I had planned a small project for the weekend but since it is supposed to be colder than an Alaskan well diggers tush this weekend I knocked out the table saw rack today. I only have 3 extra blades right now but I made the rack big enough to accommodate 6 saw blades.

It's currently 43°F outside where I live. This morning when I came out into my shop is was 28°F. I put my overhead LV heater on and now it's 58°F in my shop.

I'm currently French Polishing with Shellac on my 2 new moulding planes.

those numbers seem hauntingly familiar.

due to having the same weather that Larry has I've decided to stay in the house tonight and enjoy some bourbon. tomorrow I'll be finishing up some robin nesting platforms and begin some cedar planter boxes. On Sunday Cameron is planning to come over and turn some handles for ice cream scoops, pizza cutters, and maybe even a few bottle stoppers. He's 10 now and does all the drilling, tapping and turning by himself.

Rainy here.  Snowing at work, about another 3000 feet up the mountain.  I'm going to spend most of the weekend rough shaping that big mess 'O grips I posted earlier in the week.  I ran them all on the duplicator already, now it's belt sanders and spindle sanders.

Unless I have to go in to work for snow removal.... we'll see.

It was in the 50's when I got up and was still there when I came in from the shop. It has dropped 7 degrees in 2 hours but seems stable now.. Worked on getting doors on the cabinets today. Thought I had enough hinges but turns out I am 4 short. Guess that is a story for another day. Will continue the doors tomorrow. Hope to get started on some shelves for closet also.

Forgot that I moved  the drill cabinet (for the second time) to get the drills closer to where I use them , mostly. That move took halh of my shop time.

Bracing for impact with possible snow and ice apocalypse predicted.  As usual the stores have been sacked of all items that typically people don't buy because they don't cook at home.   Still trying to figure out why Toilet Paper gets ransacked.  What are people planning to do, POOP through the cold spell?

On another note, bought 2 Harbor Freight Us General lockers for my work toolbox.  No crazy color, basic red.  They will be here..............

Early March?

If I add the last four days together plus toss in tomorrow's potential high temperature, it might be 50°.:PullingHair:
