Are you ready for the weekend?

It's Friday again folks! ;)

Here "Two Weeks From Anywhere" I've been trying to work on my computer case build around rain, heat, mosquitos, mowing, and trying to keep up with the Butterfly/Chaos/Weed Garden.

I'll be posting some photos later on my progress with the case build.

So, What's on Your Weekend Agenda? :WonderScratch:

Raid..

I did that in Bruce's 130° attic the other day. :Hot:

Think I might have came up with enough 1/4" thick Oak boards to complete my project!

First day of new theater set construction.  Thankfully this one is quite a bit simpler than the last one.  But the shop manager is having surgery  next week so the assistant shop manager (me) will be stepping up,  Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

I got the Milescraft track saw system to start using on the sheet goods, of which we do a lot.

That reminded me of the folks who lived next door, when I moved in to our house 57 years ago. They had a black cat- I mean it was the blackest cat I had ever seen. I asked what its name was- "Joseph" was the reply. Why??? "Because of his coat of many colors".

Weekend will be putting finish on the "emergency" project.

IMG_0859.thumb.jpeg.7cadd53edd89578d94cbb7f2cd1bea16.jpegFinally got all the nails out of the salvaged lumber. Moved the overflow concrete , or most of it anyway and some of the broken brick to fill in some washes in the creek. Afternoon was devoted mostly to prepping a mantle from Willow oak. It has been down since January last year so not dry . Told wife to expect cracks. As of now is just slightly less than 3 thick and 8 deep, 6 long. Have not decided on finish. May put Danish Oil on it to start and then a film finish later. Still have a concrete pour maybe 8 inches thick I cannot break up and my tractor will not move it. :BangingHead:

Couldn't get on the site early today; some kind of Time Out Error Message. Anyway, out the door early for a trip to "Boilertown." Haircut first, trip to Menards (nothing shop related really), stop at Harbor Freight to get my free ITC, 5 gallon bucket (go Harbor-Freight:P), stop at Rural King, Speedway and finally a quick drive through at McNasty. It was just way to hot to stop at the "donut factory.":Punched:

By the time I got home, everything unloaded, put away, bird feeders/ water trays filled. It was 5P; got the mower out, did some maintenance on it, then mowed for a couple hours to finish what I didn't get done Thursday. Saturday, TBD depending on weather; peas need picked and I'm pretty sure we have first picking of green beans ready. Noticed one of the Buicks driving light bulb is out. PITB to replace.

Sunday school and church services Sunday morning. Possible nap in the afternoon or get caught up on my reading here. Of course the Mrs. has the final say for what I should or will be doing.;)

Just a PSA:    McD's sells Crispy Cremes Donuts!   Singles, or a 6 pack....

we hit 93 degrees for a high, again...

We'll see how Saturday goes along....

@steven newman Seeing your very economic acquisition of scroll saw blades got me to wondering if you could cut both ends off of those and at the right length to use them as unpinned scroll saw blades.

Yes......no......may be so?

Well..the scroll saw I have in the shop takes Pinned Blades.

Bad storm last night, just now getting back on the inter-webbies, as it was knocked out last night....along with quite a few trees...was less than a city block wide, and swirling...and one could not see more than 20' out a window...was NOT a very nice evening..
