    Beautiful saws Static, I have that LN Dovetail on the left and I believe that's a Crown in the middle? If it is that was one of my first "quality" handsaws I ever owned. Been wanting to try out the Veritas you have there on the right, how's it feel?

    Not Static, but I own the dovetail version of that LV saw. It is the favorite of the three primary backsaws I use. It is not traditional looking, but it is screaming sharp and feels like an extension of my arm/hand.

    At some point in the game I plan to pick up the carcass saw in that family.

    The carcass saw I have now is fine, but for the price of that saw it is a no brainer for me.
