April 28, 20251 yr Just got done mowing the yard....last year's gas in both the mower, and the tank....started on the first pull.... I think I would have been happier, and less SORE, if'n I gone to the shop, instead...legs are way out of shape, and not one cold beer in the Fridge... Tonic & Gin after a bit?
April 29, 20251 yr Worked on glueing up shelves to go in the lockers I won at auction this afternoon. Then started turning some spatulas to replenish my stock before a show this weekend. May get more done tomorrow .
April 29, 20251 yr Refilled all the gas cans, then continued the never ending pick-up sticks game and cutting out lots of wild Growth yesterday. I'm feeling it today. I still have several additional raised garden beds to get set and filled if we ever get a series of dry days plus the "big" garden to get tilled and start planting although another frost is predicted over the weekend. Yard needs mowed again but with rain/ storms in the daily forecast through Friday probably ain't happening. Soccer matches and baseball games on the schedule tonight and Thursday weather permitting. Haircut trip Wednesday followed by a stop at Menards, Rural King and perhaps the donut shop.
April 29, 20251 yr Popular Post Spent two afternoons on MG wire wheel removal/maintenance. Thorough cleaning down to a toothbrush, greased the splines, cleaned up the drums/calipers. Ready to roll as soon as my back and knees recover.
April 29, 20251 yr We spent yesterday morning at the hospital while Marie underwent some procedural testing, then in the afternoon I was bale to mow before the week goes south. I was trying to get my sprayer (40 gallon trailer sprayer) out, but it wasn't working so i ordered a new pump and removed the tank to wash it out. Pump should be here tomorrow, then I'll put it back together.
April 30, 20251 yr Popular Post Kinda quiet here today so decided to post a down and dirty. Son says we need a pistol table at the berm and still have some left over cedar for the top. Legs just off the log, just did not feel like ripping any more cedar right now.
