My daughter hates Menards and says all they sell is cheap stuff. Their the Walmart of big box. I rarely go to Home depot or Lowe’s

anymore. 
 

Menards is great for batteries, rugs, candy peanuts, plywood, etc. 

 

Im trying now to decide if I want my refrigerator from Lowe’s or Bestbuy…

Locally we have Rural King and "Wally World". Home depot is a 50 mile round trip.

It’s 50 miles for me, but my doctor is around the corner from them..

On top of the lowest price Menards has their 11% rebate going on now. 

Good for $14.54 in store credit towards future purchases.

County seat about 12 miles away, we have a Home Depot and now a Runnings (similar to a Rural King). HD is smaller footprint store but convenient when you need something in a hurry and some seasonal items.

 

About 25 miles North to that county seat, Lowes, Home Depot, two Menards, Rural King Tractor Supply and a Harbor Freight (go H-F). Love Rural King; bird seeds, ammo, firearms, jeans, socks, flannel shirts, work boots besides most of my L&G supply needs. Menards is my go to for lumber, building materials, plumbing supplies and so on. Also a lot of hardware items, some tool needs as well as pet food, general household cleaning items, etc. especially when the 11% Rebate is in effect.

The Menards here sells appliances also. 

I looked at a frigerator at Menards, but I don’t think they offered the same warranty as Bestbuy and Lowe’s. Menards and Home Depot are pretty limited and don’t think it’s big on their customer service …

If Costco is an option for you, I highly recommend them.  Free delivery/install (parts included),  2 year warranty.

I buy the 5 year warranty.

We do that, also.

Last appliance I got from Lowes was a dryer for my ex's rental property.  She picked it out and paid online, it showed up at the store and they brought it out.  They have a pretty good system for that with a kiosk and waiting area (at least my local store does).  I just put in her phone number and they brought out her order.
