Looks like it's Friday again folks! 

May be speaking a bit soon (Where's yhpruM) but other than yard work I've got nothing on my weekend agenda, so I'll get to the question of

 

What's on Your Weekend Agenda? 

Still living the dream...nitemares are dreams too. Planning a walk to the mailbox today and again tomorrow; maybe even down to the raised garden beds.

Donut drought continues. Probably the worst seen this century.

Have 2 new doors to hang...2 old doors to throw out..and start another 2 new doors...oh, and "raid" a couple Yard Sales...

I would hope so, they'd be pretty stale if it took "Two Weeks" to get to you. 

Finished up the flooring project in my office yesterday.  Heading to Belton, TX tomorrow to attend a hamfest.  Our radio club is renting a table and I have some excess to my need radio stuff to sell.

Floor looks great! Love the roll top desk, they always remind me of W.C. Fields in Man On The Flying Trapeze.

 The bulbs are in the basement frig chilling till tomorrow then the girls can plant them. I'm nursing the chili till tomorrow, when they are done planting then we are eating.

It's a federal design from around the WW2 era.  Solid maple.  I have the missing hardware for the drawer, but I can't find machine screws to fit.  Not a standard size.  It's neither metric or SAE.

Last weekend I spent at my hunting lease mowing the camp, filling feeders etc. in preparation for my deer season that starts the first weekend in November. While I was there I was looking at my Rhino side-by-side and thinking I need a gun rack. So yesterday I started working on one. I thought it would take me into this weekend to finish it but lo and behold I finished it today.

 

Here it is just before I mounted it on the roll cage of the Rhino.

 

 

I made these white brackets out of a piece of 4" PVC pipe. I cut a 5" long piece, ripped it down the side, flattened it out into a rectangle using my heat gun, cut it into 2 6 1/2" pieces, then using a 1 1/2" piece of pipe (same diameter as the roll cage pipe) I shaped it using the heat gun.

 

I needed it to be easy to remove when I tilt the bed to load game into the bed using a pully system connected to the front winch. I put a strap on the bottom with a quick release hook to keep the rack from bouncing up on a bumpy ranch road.

 

 

So...... I don't know what I will be doing this weekend because I got done to quickly.
