May 25, 20242 yr Popular Post comment_336149 I don't know if this is universally true for all CNC controlled machines, but my CNC has to be turned on in a certain order or the spindle will start without being told to. PC first. Control software running second. Then the control box for the CNC. Then activate the CNC within the control software. The PC and control software have to be in charge of the control box as it is turned on. If I turn on the controller box first then the spindle comes on. 4D Edited May 25, 20242 yr by 4DThinker Report

Ditto that advice. My college laser room was set afire twice when students left their cut jobs to finish while they did other things. Report

It some how didn't make it in the move. Thanks for the reminder. Plus, I never leave the area when the laser is running. Report
