lew Posted May 25, 2024 Report Posted May 25, 2024 I guess you have updated the firmware on the motherboard and the laser module? Gene Howe, Grandpadave52 and Cal 2 1 Quote
Popular Post 4DThinker Posted May 25, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted May 25, 2024 (edited) I don't know if this is universally true for all CNC controlled machines, but my CNC has to be turned on in a certain order or the spindle will start without being told to. PC first. Control software running second. Then the control box for the CNC. Then activate the CNC within the control software. The PC and control software have to be in charge of the control box as it is turned on. If I turn on the controller box first then the spindle comes on. 4D Edited May 25, 2024 by 4DThinker Cal, Gene Howe, Al B and 2 others 4 1 Quote

It some how didn't make it in the move. Thanks for the reminder. Plus, I never leave the area when the laser is running. Larry Buskirk, lew, 4DThinker and 2 others 4 1 Quote
