Government regulation will change woodworking forever from your garage to the largest users of table saws.
I am not taking any shots at SAWSTOP if you like one buy one but soon big brother will make you buy a SawStop or something just like it . This video hit YouTube less than one hour ago.

Thanks Mike. It's been rumored since late last year to early this year.

 

There's been some ongoing discussion here since ~late January.

Haven't seen this one yet. Surprised I hadn't received a notification for this one I'll take a look at what James has to say on the topic. I rarely miss one of his videos.

Watched James take on it Mike. As always, a good, common sense, insightful video. Thanks for the post.

BTW, it showed up in my notifications finally. Must have been delayed as my tablet was going through some updates. I had to restart several times to get everything working again.

I'd be curious to see the actual statistics regarding the 40k/year injuries. Just wondering if "table saw" is mingled in with circular saw, band saw or??? injuries. Assuming most ER clerks don't know the difference. Just my opinion.
