April 3, 20242 yr Government regulation will change woodworking forever from your garage to the largest users of table saws. I am not taking any shots at SAWSTOP if you like one buy one but soon big brother will make you buy a SawStop or something just like it . Must have been delayed as my tablet was going through some updates. I had to restart several times to get everything working again.

Hi Dave Literally the video was tagged at 20 minutes ago when I stumbled on to it late yesterday afternoon. As far as Stumpy Nubs Videos ( James Hamilton)I think they are some of the most sincere and fact based vids I have ever seen. I am not into hero worship by any measure but I appreciate any information that I feel is not salted with some sort of polarization , Stumpy Nubs INHO manages this balance very well ! calabrese55

April 6, 20242 yr Popular Post Y'all just gonna have to go to "hand tools". On a more serious note, Stumpy closed out with, "USE YOUR TABLE SAW GUARDS!". I couldn't agree more. If we all used them religiously, we wouldn't be where we are at with all of this government over reach, because statistically that 40 thousand injury per year statistic wouldn't exist, if we all just use our guards, and there would be no market for a flesh sensing technology. So in a roundabout way, we are responsible for what is happening now.
April 6, 20242 yr I'd be curious to see the actual statistics regarding the 40k/year injuries. Just wondering if "table saw" is mingled in with circular saw, band saw or??? injuries. Assuming most ER clerks don't know the difference. Just my opinion.
April 6, 20242 yr Popular Post Hmmm..I kind of prefer the "old" Saw stop... Plus, you get a Cardio Workout to boot... Lumber is Ash..had two more boards to cut for length...
April 7, 20242 yr Popular Post I’m trying to corner the market on used tables saws in New England right now. I figger I’ll hang out on the street corners outside the local Woodcraft, and Rockler stores.
