September 11, 20232 yr Popular Post Fall household deep cleaning continues. Wife is at work. I have my assignment check list. Wonder if she'll help when it's time for the garage deep clean? A variety of tasks on slate for the week; none fun except grandsons football game tomorrow night assuming the rain will have moved on. Thanks again Mike @calabrese55 for your solemn reminder.
September 11, 20232 yr Popular Post Played with Photoshop. Working on some images to use for engraving. Mine's an old version and finding helpful tutorials are a little more difficult to track down. Used to have the Graphic Arts kids, at school, teach me stuff but since retirement I'm on my own. Did finish the outside of an elm bowl and hollowed the inside- needs sanding and finish.
September 11, 20232 yr Popular Post Meh, rainy Monday mounting bolts for the neutral/range position switch on the Pilot snapped and that Astro's still playing games. Can't work out at the picnic table work bench either. Other than that. Edited September 11, 20232 yr by Larry Buskirk

September 12, 20232 yr Popular Post Was too busy to notice that is was a Monday Doctors' appointments to schedule, pills to go and buy...Block plane iron needed a small bit of work...and just sitting around...trying to keep the right leg elevated is a chore...bad case of fever blisters going on... Tomorrow, have to go and replace both the Medicare and the Social Security cards....as my son washed my jeans without checking any of the pockets, first. Night time pills have been taken...all 3 of them...more tomorrow. Still haven't quite got caught up with sleep, as a Hospital is NO place to get a good night's sleep.

September 12, 20232 yr Popular Post Upper garage... is getting there. Glass for cabinet doors has not been cut yet. Still have a few signs to decide on also, but for sure will post up pics when the last cabinet doors are installed. Got the lower garage somewhat cleaned up too - at least as much as the leaf blower allows SWMBO says she is doing a yard sale next weekend, so I plan to take a couple days this week gathering up misc. stuff to put in it. Been waiting for the auction company to call... but if they don't call first it will gets it's day here. I need the space!
September 12, 20232 yr Popular Post Not raining today yet. Maybe I'll get those two broken bolts out of the Pilot, maybe I won't.
September 12, 20232 yr Popular Post About finished scrolling a sign for my sister's kitchen. It'll be a Christmas gift. For once, I'm ahead of the game. Then, it's on to toys. Scrolling is enjoyable but, tedious.
September 12, 20232 yr Popular Post Took almost as long to get signed in at the Koisk as it did to apply for the new cards...did not even get to sit down until I was at the OPEN WINDOW.....with only one other couple being waited on in the other window! 15 minutes, tops...had to wait until Long John Silvers opened up at 1100 hrs..... In and right back out, cards are in the mail, now! Not too bad of a "Road Trip"?
September 12, 20232 yr Popular Post You really lucked out, maybe it's time to buy a lottery ticket???

Managed to get the top broken bolt out yesterday after soaking with Cyclo's Break Away for a few hours. Had it soaking with PB Blaster overnight before that without any luck. I'm using a soft plastic cap that fits over the mounting lugs with a wadded-up piece of paper towel soaked with penetrate to keep the broken bolts wet. The bottom bolt has been soaking overnight now with the Break Away. Just have to use the right "JUICE"!
