Just a few bowls for the parent-type's 65th anniversary get together.

 

A bread bowl from teak with a walnut foot.

 

Then two same but different candy dishes. Both teak and mesquite. Just a little shuffling of rings to put the accents in different locations. Was hoping for a bit more color contrast but not too bad as is.

Love the three corner. I am guessing a lot of carving on the top and sawing the sides out. Very good proportions .

The top is just my famous 'rollover ring'. All easily done on the RM.

 

For the sides, you are correct. I run it through the bandsaw at an angle then sand down the sharp edges. I think three feet looks better than four so I stick with that.

No good deed shall go unpunished. 

 

Now I get to make two more of the bread bowls for cousin's wife and a sister-in-law.

 

At least I have a legit reason to be making sawdust and noise again!
