Quote Making this wall cabinet is a real challenge to your craftsmanship, as it involves a high degree of accuracy. Inside width permits setting four 10-in. plates on edge on one or more of the shelves. In height the cabinet reaches up to 6 in. from the usual 8-ft. room height, thus clears a crown corner molding that joins walls to ceiling. Soft illumination emitted from a tubular lamp pervades the inside from top to bottom, passing through glass shelves that are positioned directly behind the horizontal crosspieces of the door grilles. Satin-finish black for the outside of the cabinet and legs of the coffee table produce an exquisite effect, although you can have the richness of natural or stained wood finished to a soft sheen.
