Been busy last few eeks.  My son is home from Merchant Marine Academy.

Lena pass citizenship test 2 November.  Oath Ceremony to be announced when the government sends us some notification.  Might be a few months.

Glad you're OK and just been busy. Been wondering? Enjoy time with your son!

CONGRATULATIONS TO LENA and welcome. Such wonderful and awesome news. Hoping for pictures of the Oath Ceremony. Give her a hug from all of us!!

 Everything I've got that has pneumatic tires has at least one that leaks. <_<

Nitrogen has larger molecules and therefore will not seep out like regular compressed air does and then you do not need to add air unless you get a puncture. The shop I use does not even have compressed air.

Well, learned something new. Thanks Gerald.

Been wondering where you were, Gunny. A big congrats to Lena, I thought her test was somewhere around this time.

Air is cheap here in the Midwest. Just hard to carry.

I use one of those carry around air tanks.

:ChinScratch:Must be expensive running the tire changing machine on nitrogen.

Wow!!

Thanks Lew,

First time I've ever set up a computer to run in virtual mode. Was actually surprised when it worked the first try. :o

Needed to have the XP Pro SP3 Mode because the software installer for the TIS2000 software is 16 bit.

Seems kind of strange running W7 Pro, even stranger XP Pro again.

:o ...  ... Oh, Oh, I feel kind of strange...

 ...  Now where did these DOS, & Windows Floppy Discs come from? :WonderScratch:

It's all greek to me!

:ChinScratch: Basically setting up a couple of generations old vehicle diagnostic system that GM dealers used to use for diagnostics, and programming of the vehicle control modules. Dealers around here charge $180.00 the first hour, $160.00 per hour after that. Bruce has 5 Chevrolet products that this system can work with. He doesn't plan on getting anything newer, but if he does the system is upgradable. As it is it will work for GM vehicles 1992 through 2007 for programming the modules.

The system cost less than 2 hours shop dignostic/labor time.

:throbbinghead:

If you think you're confused, you should see me trying to figure out the steps for doing the reprogramming that needs to be done. <_<

You even have to go through one of these systems to unlock the radio.
