Took most of Sunday for R&R.

Enjoying a bit more of it this morning on the patio, with coffee, watching the birds frolic in the fountain, doing their morning ablutions, while I plan the day. Thinking most of it will be at the BS, cutting 12 Limbert table legs. All in keeping with my resolve to quash my ADD and keep at one project until completion. We'll see how that goes.

Some folks may not believe it, but you can hear corn grow. Way out in the country far from interstate highways and airline routes, where the silence is deafening, a field of corn makes a subtle crackling noise.

Sunday porch cutting of a curb-found piece of wood. I must be speeding up The Process; it's only been 4 1/2 months from Find to Cut.

Plus some squaring duties for future jewelry trays. Plus a resolution to 000 buff my entire saw and apply paste wax.

Pick-up-sticks game of the week after weekend storms. Lots of noise + wind...minimal rain. Still considered a high drought zone. Soybeans show it.

Family fun night tomorrow evening at church sponsored by our youth groups. Cookout, games, fellowship as many of our youth will be returning to campus soon.

Hope to get some garage time since mowing has fallen off urgent list. Too many tasks and projects to count. Need to recharge my motivation batteries but can't find the charger.

Be safe, work smart not harder, keep cool, stay hydrated and remember the "rule of ten."

Yup! I've probably got $1,000 worth of tools I've never used. But they were all REAL good bargains!

While I am not as active here, still fairly busy on projects at home. Just take longer as I get accustomed to work load at new job. 6 weeks in, still beat every day. Pay is good though.

Have 2 grinders now. Made a drawer with sliding tray.

Great idea. I recently acquired a second grinder but mine are used for carving and maybe cutting metal from time to time. May have to build this into the drawer they rest in.

It is Tuesday afternoon, just got home from work.  Exhausted from 2 hard days on the line.  Unbelievable how busy this place is...

Nap time!
