Going to be a rather different Christmas here "Two Weeks From Anywhere".

We'll be staying home.

So without getting into the reasons,...

Today I'll be visiting a few pharmacies to try and get some medication for Marie that our regular place can't get anymore. Tomorrow will be somewhat back to a normal for us Christmas. Daughter and her family will be here for dinner and gifts. Sunday will be a day of recovery for Marie....probably me as well. Echo Bob's Christmas wishes....best to all on this holiday.

Oven cooked prime rib, bacon wrapped scallops on the grill. sides too numerous to list. Coconut pie. Tons of cookies of all descriptions. Everyone will get well satiated. AZ Cardinals later. Phyl has all her sinus infection meds and, is on the mend.

Another feast at son and DIL's the next day. Albondigas soup has been promised!  Monday is TBD. Tuesday, we take my sister to the airport. Wednesday is more stock prep for the tables.

Everything Christmas is done.  The enjoyment has already been experienced with the our party last weekend and a visit from a long time friend from Arizona yesterday.  Tomorrow will be a day of relaxing and dinner at my brother's with him and his wife.  Should probably see about cleaning the mess the elves left in the shop.

Had over 400 cars thru Wednesday and over 500 last night. 101 kids to see Santa Wednesday and 145 last night. All this occurs in just two hours.

For the weekend probably in the shop . Planning to redo some of the DC duct work and gates.

just added a 3rd batch of 2 part epoxy to the Chili that goes on the gate, to seal up some rot on top.  trying to buy a few more years before i have to make a replacement.  let it cure for 2 days, sand, prime, paint, attach address numbers, hang up again.

Finishing up some of the food prep today. Candlelight Service 7:30P tonight at our church. Tomorrow our daughter is hosting the Christmas gathering. <20 min drive over the hill and thru the woods. Church Sunday, a visit with my step-father after, then like Fred & Marie, will enjoy some R&R.

In advance, wishing all of you here and your families a Very Blessed and Merry Christmas.

All Christmas gifts have arrived, wrapped and placed around the tree.  And, in the 10 to 15 minutes that I get between nursing I use that time to work on this box.  This has been a process since early September.  I was going to put a finial on top but decided with the overhang, the finial was more of a liability than an asset, especially considering the recipient.

Not finished that way that I wished, but ran out of time.

The grandchildren will be here for collecting gifts.  The only thing that I have for food that is prepared is a ham ball.  Actually, fake ham, but still very good.  So, they will be here for some of that.  I can't get my thoughts together enough to cook, so they will have to fend for themselves.  Otherwise, the weekend will be quiet.  I hope she will sleep some Sunday so I can start a turning.  I have many things to do other than nursing, but will do things as time allows.

I hope everyone has a great a Christmas as you can.  Some of us are struggling and I feel your pain.  Wishing the very best to each member here.  And, as the rest of you, I will remember to be thankful for what I have had and what I have.

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

Presents all wrapped.  Heading to my BIL's house for Christmas dinner tomorrow afternoon.  No idea what they are serving but its usually pretty good.

Looking forward to a week of vacation next week.  Not planning much, just rest and relaxation.

Just got back from the M-I-L’s, nice dinner, just the 3 of us. Tomorrow am the kid is coming by with his girl for a Christmas brunch, then the Missus and me are going to my brothers’ house. Sunday back to the M-I-L’s house to do Christmas with the Missus’s side. Her sister’s son is autistic and does much better with smaller gatherings.

I got wood for Christmas!  Itauba, Redgum, Cottonwood, Italian Olive, and Big Leaf Maple Burl.  I should have expected it now that I remember that casual conversation with Mrs. Boss.  "Honey where do you get your bowl blanks?".
