I've never seen a straight sided piece like that.  Looks like it would take multiple glue ups of the same size?  I like it, quite unique.

That’s correct Dan, but out of each glue up you can get 6 to 8 straight sided rings. One each for the lid and base though.  These round boxes are one of the most popular craft show items.  The larger sizes I make 2 or 3 trays for, the smaller sizes just get a lid.  They don’t have to be segmented either if you have some nice stable lumber.  You can make that style in a hurry!  Thanks for your comment.
