November 6, 20214 yr Popular Post This is my 10th bowl since starting segmenting. It's made of Maple and Walnut and was patterned after a bowl by Ray Allen from Dale L. Nish's book, "Wood Turning with Ray Allen. I changed the design/feature ring to the checkerboard pattern. Thanks for looking.

November 8, 20214 yr Very nice. I got into segmented turning to have something to do while roughed out bowls are drying. I am hooked on it now. I love segmented bowls.

I love segmented bowls. I’m hooked too Rusty, I really enjoy it. I’ve started making a couple at a time to offset the waiting for glue to set up. I’ve also started using TB Quick and Thick. Cuts the wait time in half.
