I went to change blades from cross cut to general purpose, and I quickly learned my mistake. 

Any Shopsmith guys care to solve the mystery? The blade below is my problem.

That blade is seriously mounted on the arbor backwards.  I hope you don't try using it that way.  It is a great blade.  It's the one that I use most.  

 

Keeping the arbor in the same position, the blades should point to you, not away.

Everything might be tolerated on the west coast and wacky tabacky might be legal but a saw blade mounted backwards is one thing that can't be done with any success in most applications.

Hey Gramps, Prop 46 is only a convenience for products they don't like, we are a big walking cancer populace in this state according to the folks who make up these whacky props.

Thanks Patch for noticing I'm  back. They may have a marker for me somewhere but I haven't been looking too close for it. Never was any good at finding mushrooms either.
