Looks like it does the same job as the Wolverine but adds the clearance grinds which are simple to add to the Wolverine.

 

Have never seen it used by anyone.

    My friend has the Wolverine system and wondered if this one would be better.

    I think his system is used to get he special grinds he uses on hats.

    I agree.  All it does is sharpen more of the sides when it comes to the cutting edge.  Probably used for shearing cuts.  He is expert at those hats.
