A couple of pecan bowls from either half of the same log.  One half of the log had a bit of a burl formation.  I found it interesting to see how different the grain patterns were.  So much for a book-matched set...:BangingHead: 

 

Both of these were soaked in soapy water and allowed to air dry to about 13%.  Sanded to 800.  Finished with General Wood Bowl finish followed by beeswax friction polish.
