Do we have a family report?  Or, do we get one?  Just wanted to know if they had a great time.

Folks, I want to thank you all, thank you thank you and thank you for being a part of this special project we participate in yearly, I am very proud of our community, and how it always comes together for our Warrior families.

I completely wish you could all walk away with something as gratitude for your support, but I know for a fact, upon contributing that was the least from your minds, I know our folks here well enough to see that.

I also need to apologize, @FlGatorwood inquired about the family and how they did for Christmas. I had stated I had no news. Well the reality is I did have news Christmas afternoon, it was in the form of a text message and I just didn't catch it in time, I have been tied up and running with the family since Christmas and it just slipped by me.

Briana Hine, the mother texted me that the kids were completely in awe of their Christmas morning. The presents were all concealed in Santa's secret hideaway.

So when the kids went to bed, there was the usual presents under the tree from relatives and family, but when they awoke the next morning, the presents multiplied ten fold!

They loved them all. :) All the presents were apparently labeled to each child and signed From "Santa Klaus" as was directed by the Elves of The Patriot Woodworker. Mrs. Hine told me she will send us images of the great event that morning, I hope we have those images at the time of closing of this project, mid January when all the smoke settles and final contributions are sent to the Hine Family, and we'll report here for final disclosures of expenditures and such.

So there y'all have it, you know what I know, sorry Steven for my lack of keeping up with my texts on my dumbphone, and thanks again for your inquiry.

Good luck to all our contributors, tomorrow we will have our winners announced!

And a word for those who could not or did not contribute to this project, you all are contributing in one way or another, whether you know it or not! You see, you are here, you are contributing content, you are sharing your work, you are helping other woodworkers, you are active, you are interested, and we need that! If we did not have you here as often as you are, if our community was not active, then our sponsors would not exist, the outpouring of support would not exist, our community would not exist, therefore, neither would the aid we provide to these Warrior Families every year. Please do not feel bad that you could not contribute, or for some other reason you felt it was not the right time, whatever it was, is no matter to me or our staff, what matters is that you are here! :)

So thank you all!!!!

John, no apology necessary.  I just wanted to know if you had heard anything.  It would be really nice to see pictures of what they unwrapped and the looks of reaction to their gifts.  That is too much to ask, but it would be inspiring.  Thank you for telling us all the great news.  That is also inspiring and it makes me very happy to know that they enjoyed what they got.  Thanks, again, to you and your family, John for all your time and work.  And, thanks to all who contributed and to all our sponsors.

John, I'll just put this out here for all to read and know.  I don't need any more tools.  I am good.  I just need to get a few more projects completed.  My son is expressing interest in using the Shopsmith.  I'll believe it when he marches himself here and actually goes out to the garage and ask how to do something or actually get his paws involved in a project.  No doubt here.  LOL
