October 30, 20205 yr Looks good, but this part where we make a box and have no plan or idea what we are using it for?? Really???
October 30, 20205 yr Author Popular Post Ok, this box was nothing more than a Dovetail Class project....so I could learn another way of making corner joints... Look closely at those corners....as I sawed through a couple tails.... Stands less the 4" tall by 7" across the front, by 6" on the sides.... Double bead wasn't the best..bandsaw made a wavy cut...next time, it will get handsawn. had a bad spot at one corner..,..just some scrap pine.... Was more about learning a new (to me) dovetail joint.....might go out and get some decent looking lumber next time....and try these again... Thanks for following along..
October 30, 20205 yr Popular Post Was good practice. Lessons learned and shared. Now I figured out a use for this box. Put 20 pieces of paper inside folded over. On each write bad idea. Now gift it to someone and tell them it's a box full of bad ideas. I might make a couple and give out myself. My Dad will enjoy that one.
October 30, 20205 yr Author Popular Post Seems I have a tool set... Seems to be the perfect size... Might do the trick? Drat..now I HAVE to add a finish to this little case....

Learning a new technique was the plan. It will find a use somewhere. @steven newman has lots of tools and parts. I made a little box when my micro-driver set fell on the floor and broke the lid off. It allowed me to add a few more bits and looks nice.
