Amazing the things that people toss out isn't it?

Would love to go curb shopping. But, our town only has one street with curbs. No curbing in the residential areas. Plus, nobody throws anything away. They save it up for the yard sales. Plenty of those, though. Usually, tools and hardware are sparse.

I am spending time with my grand daughter Ella. One of the rare teenagers who still love spending time with her Opa. She has the wonderful ability to take the knots out of my rope just by being there. She spent time sweeping and cleaning my shop, especially the windows which is a job that does not appeal to me while lecturing me on keeping things put away after I use them. "What are these screws laying on the bench? And that hammer? That chisel? Can't you ever put stuff away?" I also taught her to sharpen chisels using my Work Sharp and finishing them off with a Japanese wet stone. Future wood worker? Maybe, but she is a competitive Dressage and Hunter/Jumper rider like her mother and spends a lot of time with her horse.

Man, I have a great wife, wonderful daughter, magnificent grand daughter, 5 acres of heaven, decent health and pretty good security. If I can't be happy who can? I am so lucky to have such a group of great people around me. I need to show them more appreciation. I get up every morning trying to be worthy of them.

Gene,

Most of the places we go don't have curbs either. People just put the piles at the edge of the road.

Well the project I had for Monday seems to be a complete success.  It holds water, it isn't fully cured as of yet but seems that the resin is doing its job well.

Does it get another coat? just that it has only a few shiny spots

maybe needs more resin shoot.

Have 2 push mowers that were picked up side by side in 2000 with the price tags still on them.  Put a 20 cent part in each of them.  Gave one to my sister and am still cutting the side yard regularly with the other.  One persons junk.......
