Kinda late on this been at the AAW Virtual Symposium all weekend. On the sanding the proper oder is to sand outside before hollowing. The reason is that the heat of sanding can cause wood to crack. This can be more of a problem when you start turning thinner and yes you will do that too.

   Nice job on this.
