January 25, 20206 yr Popular Post Well, this is my first rolling pin of any kind. When I do something for the first time, I jump in and try the most difficult thing. This was “supposed to be a Celtic knot rolling pin. It looks more like a drunken knot...ha ha....I thought turning the taper would be difficult, but it wasn’t to bad. I know there must be a way of doing it....anyhow here is a photo of it. It’s Curley maple with walnut inlays... Edited January 25, 20206 yr by Pauley

January 25, 20206 yr Popular Post Used to do these on pens. Took some practice and a jig to get consistent results.
January 25, 20206 yr Nice Pauley. I haven't ever tried a Celtic knot but have been meaning to for quite a number of years.
January 26, 20206 yr Now in our household the # 1 use for a rolling pin is husband training, by the wife. This looks like it would be very adept at filling that role LOL. Good job.
