October 31, 20196 yr Popular Post $600 flat. Almost no hours on the machine the frosting is still on the ways Guy used it as a glorified drill press. Three hours to the location in CT then two hours to manually roll it into a trailer. Yah rollers and a tiny come along. and three hours home. It's under a tarp in the driveway on the trailer I'm bushed.
October 31, 20196 yr Author Popular Post That ain't rust that's dirt. the reason for the price was the difficulty of the location and they had no way to load it.
October 31, 20196 yr Popular Post You know, of course, if you keep this up you're gonna need a bigger basement! Awesome score!! Edited October 31, 20196 yr by lew
October 31, 20196 yr Author Popular Post They tried for weeks to get a higher price but no one had the je ne sais quoi to load it on a trailer. When I found the ad it was 600 OBO I didn't have the heart to low ball 'em. 3 minutes ago, Woodbutcherbynight said: Did you wear a mask when you went
October 31, 20196 yr What a deal...or was that a steal? Certainly worth the trip and the loading/unloading hassle.

This would be a great point for Larry to chime in on. I was under the impression that a Vintage machine was 25 years or older. I could be wrong, probably am wrong. Where's Larry! Thanks Cliff, we'll get it sorted out. But I just hated seeing your machine stuck down in Free For All, it deserved a better location. If it doesn't belong here, we'll move it to the Tools and Machinery Forum. Thanks

I know when it comes to automotive related genres, it's 25 years considered Vintage. I have seen references to other worldly items as well as 25 years, is there an official ARN dating systems that determines if a machine can be considered vintage or not?

November 3, 20196 yr Us oldsters are like fine wines. Get better with age...unless the cork rots. Then we just turn sour an moldy.
November 3, 20196 yr @John Morris ...John, we have ours listed as 25 years, or older. I did a couple of quick checks and a couple of other sites have changed to 20 years or older, or no longer manufactured.
November 4, 20196 yr Author a gallon of Kero and a boat load of rags and I'm still cleaning it I took the table off the saddle is next. Gosh golly [and some things I'm not allowed to say here for fear the Chilluns might be warped and twisted] THIS THING IS DIRTY~!!!!! But tell me what kind of idiot buys a machine with so few hours on it that in the middle of the table where te most wear should be the frosting is still there and the lead screw isn't worn in the center either? I'll tell ya what kind of idiot. the kind who knows the thing hadn't been cleaned in like 30 years and any lube in the one shot lube pump has turned back into Crude oil. And yup it's was black as [fill in the name of the person you hate most]'s heart Images are of the underside of the table
