Dadio has yet to comment. I was hoping he would accept this challenge.  I guess he is giving everyone time to stock up with HF goodies.  :D

For an iron he could use a sharpened dovetail bolt or a flathead screw and set the irons vertical...

That's a simple solution and probably the most economical one. :D

 

Nice...I started to make one using a different design and then decided to buy the Lee Valley.  Happy with it and will probably finish the one I started...soon as the shop opens...
