Well I have been absent for a few weeks from the site. We were contacted by a design company to built a couple of prototypes for them to take to market. So we got busy working on them and finished last Friday morning and they are at market this week. We have no idea where this will go but we were ask to prepare a bid for 1000 of them. So that what’s been going on with us. Hopefully we will know something in about a week.

So now back to other work. We almost finished a large custom green egg, grill, outdoor unit for a customer. Most of it is cedar, the top will be Epay Wood, something the customer had. Also going to use it on some of the trim.

Saturday I’m heading to Nashville to Woodcraft to pickup a new and larger CNC machine. No idea where I’m going to put it, the shop is full!  Maybe another addition.

Glad to be back posting today and look forward to seeing and hearing about your weekend agenda.

Sorry but but right now I can’t tell you anything more about the prototypes.

Hope you have a great weekend and whatever you do have fun and be safe!

Wow, good luck with the new project John.  The grill cabinet up above looks great!

As for me, I continue to plod along with the flooring project.  It was too cold this past week to open the floor up and have windows opeb, so I have been doing other work and preparing for that week(s) I do have the floor tore up.  Looks like I will be able to tackle one more room this coming week.

That is exciting for you and your shop. I look forward to seeing how it all comes out.

Woodworking club tomorrow, then on to "Tech Week" to get the theater set moved, installed, and ready for the performance next weekend.   Likely Sunday and every evening next week.

That's my eldest grand-daughter on the left.

Thought I might make it through the winter without catching some crud but NOOOOO!!!, it caught me on Wednesday.   Not going to make much dust until it's over.  Started with the Zicam and chicken soup as soon as I felt it coming on and it has done it's job.  It didn't get bad and I am feeling a bit better today.

Nice looking cabinet John !!! Good Luck !!!

Nothing planned just playing it by ear and doing what I want to do when I want to do it. :WonderScratch:

John if you get this bid I think the shop addition will be paid for at least.

I’ve been slowly work8ng on a California king bed for a customer.  All I got was an internet picture to work from.  Here’s the headboard and I’ll mortise the posts Monday and start on the foot.  Believe it or not, the decorative arch took two hours to complete. Check out the faux shiplap.

Picked up a 3/4" Schedule 40 pipe (10' ) 2 elbows, a cap, and an adapter to attach this mess to a garden hose...the dang glue and cleaner cost more than the materials...pictures when I get it together..

Yes,yes we do! 😂

This weekend  I have a couple of pens prepaired to make, and I also have a needle case that needs to be made that a customer ordered.  There may be a few others made as well.

Top blank is Cocobolo and the bottom blank I believe is rosewood.

Everyone enjoy your weekend and be safe.

Another nasty week weather wise...snow, below zero temps, some more snow and now a threat of thunderstorms with rain & 40 mph wind tomorrow. I haven't seen dry earth in nearly 6 months.

Attended girl's swim banquet Wed. at their request. I apologize first for "bragging" but was quite proud...oldest grand-daughter received her 4 year swim varsity letter recognition however the big surprise came as she was named/honored as an Academic All-State & Academic H.S. All-American for maintaining 3.75>/4.0 GPA for her four year's lettering. Maybe we have done a few things right.

Weekend: Will be shorter than normal:rolleyes:...Stay above the mud...may venture out to the garage for a bit tomorrow if it makes it above 50. Church Sunday.

Don't forget to spring your clocks forward one hour tomorrow night to be in compliance.
