I was just messaged by @PostalTom that I had inadvertently used the laughing icon in reacting to his post above. I apologize to Tom and the forum members for, what may have been percieved as an inappropriate reaction. It was, and I'm sorry for my carelessness.

Thank you Gene.  I appreciate your response.

@MaDeuce, that is fantastic.  Normally, I am not a fan of combining or overlaying our flag with other pieces of art.  Normally, I feel the flag should remain proud and unblemished, all by itself.  But this is not in that category.  Your creation conveys respect, honor, and camaraderie.  Not to be maudlin, but I would be both proud and humbled to receive something like that.  Good for you!

Thank you Tom!

Carved with a Dremel

Hello Ma

How did you apply the pattern before carving? Free-hand, tracing, what?

That means you'll be making another one. We're all anticipating that one. You go, girl.

Gene, it's an easy mistake.  Sometimes, I have to review to ensure I got the correct reaction posted.

Hey, this is not a big deal.  I just wanted to make sure I had not somehow given the wrong impression with my post.  No harm done, no feelings hurt.

If you are ever down this way, I will gladly buy you a box of them.  You buy the coffee, and we will lie to each other for a while.;)
