Not on the mock up.  But had started a parts list of things like that.  Planned on making it out of some mild steel I have and working off my wooden template / mock up.

Yeah okay.  You have a better chance talking to my ex wife and getting her to stop contacting me.  Bloody impossible!!!

Loving this Tucson weather. Yesterday it hit 80 degrees. Got down to 43 overnight.

Our son, Kevin found a "pole vise"...that's what he calls it. It's a big vise on a tapered steel rod with a 3/4" steel ball at the bottom. He built a stand for it. I've never seen anything like it. Pictures later. If, I can figger out how to get them from the camera to this Kindle. Otherwise, they'll have to wait till we get home.

Went to a neighborhood Christmas light display, last night. About 6 square blocks of some fantastic displays. It's a Tucson Christmas tradition. There are so many sightseers that, for the last several years, they've blocked off the entire neighborhood to automobiles. You either walk or, they provide (for a price) jeep drawn trailers with seats. We rode. Each trailer holds about 50 people and there were 20 trailers fully loaded that snaked their way through the neighborhood. Took about an hour. They run every hour from 18:00 to 22:00. Quite an operation. There were huge crowds of walkers, too. No admission fees for them. It was a joy to see the faces of the little ones as they took it all in.

Today, we're going to an All You Can Eat Shushi bar, for lunch. Tommorrow is TBD.

Catch y'all later.

@Grandpadave52, that's it. Looks identical. Heavy duty thing.

They were something in their day...can't buy that kind of cast iron/steel anymore.

They could be finger pinchers if you weren't careful. HIGHLY collectible today...a lot of them have been scrapped:(

Good to hear your son has caught the old 'arn bug...we need the next generation pursuing this endeavor.

Anyone give me some guidance on this clamp?  Was part of a box of assorted stuff someone dropped off.  Most of it was screws and nuts and bolts.  Check this clamp out though.

Repairable?  Seems doubtful to me.  Could be turned into something else?
