Popular Post John Moody Posted December 21, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted December 21, 2018 After a busy week I finally got the mirrors all done with the initials and ready to assemble and picked up in the morning. Whew just made the deadline. Insert the handles and spray on finish and they are ready. Cornhole boards everywhere. Most of the will be picked up today or tomorrow. One set left to finish and they are in the clamps. Hope you are all ready for this Holiday weekend. Have you finished all your projects and ready for some rest? Hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas and thanks for being a part of TPW. Harry Brink, FlGatorwood, Grandpadave52 and 6 others 6 3 Quote
Popular Post Gene Howe Posted December 21, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted December 21, 2018 We're packing for Tucson. Gobs of stuff to load. Not only presents but, a bunch of stuff for my son that resulted from the shop reorganizing. We leave at 06:00 tomorrow. We'll be enjoying the Tucson Weather by 10:30. That said, however, I did make four gifts this year; a custom mirror, a custom sign and two puzzles for a pair of toddlers. All of the "big stuff" from me this year has already been gifted: transmission for the son's car, a set of tires for the daughter's car and my wife got a new TV last month while she was laid up from knee surgery. I am now just trying to stay out of the way and do some clean up around the house, yard & shop. HARO50, John Morris, Stick486 and 2 others 5 Quote
Popular Post Grandpadave52 Posted December 21, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted December 21, 2018 Very obvious the Moody Elves have been quite busy this year. Nicely done on the mirrors...some real fancy corn hole boards; hope they fit down the chimneys. I probably should start some Christmas shopping later this afternoon plus stock up batteries...still a couple of days though. It's hard to believe Christmas is actually upon us for 2018. My joy now with the heavy commercialization of Christmas is listening to and watching the grandkids especially my two grandsons on Christmas morning. No present like it...no batteries needed either Well except for whatever they hand me that batteries were not included. Special services Sunday at Church plus Christmas Eve Candlelight services Monday. Christmas morning begins with our traditional reading and reflection of the Christmas Story...then and only then is it Christmas. Gene Howe, Cal, LarryS and 5 others 7 1 Quote

No matter where I am Christmass mass to remind us of the roots of Christmas. Christmas or Christ Mass? Possibly shortend. If you still believe get the to a service and remind yourself why this season exists. Gene Howe, Grandpadave52, Cal and 1 other 2 2 Quote

Popular Post Gunny Posted December 22, 2018 Popular Post Report Posted December 22, 2018 Spend some time devising a mock up lift out of wood for a router table build. Only to find out what I thought a guy made he actually bought for $15. Found it online and ordered it. No need to reinvent the scissor lift this week. Not to say I did not make a working model though. Cal, HARO50, LarryS and 3 others 6 Quote
