Ron, That is a cool fix, I have a couple and haven't had to fix any of them yet, they are really handy, I get them from Ikea for around $10. ea. they aren't as industrial looking as yours.

Great save Ron. Looks pretty snazzy now with the turned globe.

 

How much use time do you get out of these before changing batteries?

What is the battery type (eg AAA, AA...) and quantity?

Where did you get these? I like the base design using either clamp or magnets to hold in place.

The lamps from IKEA are much better and they are corded, no batteries and are more focused. You can put a brighter light exactly where you want it.

My wife got this LED lamp several years ago for her sewing machine. When she didn't want it anymore, I put it on my bandsaw and it is perfect for that job.fullsizeoutput_9c5.jpeg.76492bacfb3f8d038723054e2aed3136.jpeg
