S.A. Woods 16" Jointer

Featured Replies

I recently acquired a 16" jointer by S.A. Woods. I'm missing the height adjustment wheel and screw. I was wondering if anyone here knows where I might find parts for this machine?

Thank in advance for any input,

Shawn

You might try the Old Wood Working Machinery group over at http://vintagemachinery.org/

and see if someone there might have an idea.

To what size and shape shaft does the wheel attach?

looks like 1". I would have to measure the one on the infeed table.

Somehow missed this thread @shawnbrad. No doubt you're looking for an original but another option might be something from Grizzly. Many of their hand wheels provide for the end user to drill to needed size.

Also you might check McMaster Carr and Grainger

Looking forward to seeing your restoration of this jointer. Awesome tool.

I'm not sure if this telephone number is still valid but Wilke Machinery in York, PA used to be the retailer for Bridgewood products. They closed down their showroom about 10 years ago but did open a smaller business. They kept a lot of parts inventory. Try-  (717) 764-5000
