August 2, 20187 yr Popular Post Here is one I finished a couple weeks ago on the Ringmaster. Has yellowhart, padauk, cherry, and riverbirch. The paduak bleed over when the lacquer was applied. The padauk has open endgrain pores and if you want a mirror finish it would take a lot more work.
August 3, 20187 yr Author Steve it is the lathe mount. Got it from a widow and sent to manufacturer and for 125 is like new. I think I paid 150 initially. Do not use much after the burst the first year with maybe 25 to 30 bowls. But there are more coming. Thanks to all for the comments
August 3, 20187 yr Nice work, Gerald. Who was the guy on Wood Online who was really big into the Ringmaster?
August 4, 20187 yr Author I think you are talking about William Young. He does some great stuff . You can see him on Facebook. He has a forum but it is only by recommendation .
August 15, 20187 yr Thanks, Gerald. I remember he posted quite a bit on the Wood Magazine forum until they shut it down.
